Of all the words in the English language, “yet” has got to be the most comforting and powerful.
You don’t know how to do it. Yet.
You’re not up to the huge challenge in front of you. Yet.
You can’t figure out what it is you really want. Yet.
You don’t have the confidence to change. Yet.
You haven’t got the answers you need. Yet.
“Yet” reminds us that we’re greater than the circumstances we’re in. It reminds us that by taking the smallest of steps we can do extraordinary things that at first seemed impossible.
It reminds us that we can start, and that we’re not done yet.
Not by a long shot.
What can you put the word “yet” after? What will happen when you do?
